Senior Accountant, Taiwan

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented and experienced senior accountant to join our team in Taipei, Taiwan. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of accounting, financial and internal control principles, and a minimum of three years accounting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Report to director of finance.
• Manage all accounts payables, fixed assets, and sales accounting in Oracle 11i.
• Ensure SOX internal financial control compliance in all accounting processes and practices.
• Identify, communicate, and recommend corrective actions to ensure internal controls are working properly.
• Liaise with external auditor and authorities on statutory and tax matters.
• Manage daily payment, cash flow, and banking activities.
• Manage quarterly review and annual audit.
• Prepare monthly control and analysis schedule.
• Handle other accounting/finance related task as requested.

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting/finance
• Minimum 3 years of accounting and reporting experience
• Knowledge of local statutory, tax, and authorities requirements
• Solid understanding of accounting, financial, and internal control principles
• Fluency in English and Chinese (both oral and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to use independent judgment to analyze and resolve accounting issues
• High level of integrity and commitment
