International Customer Service Lead - Korean Language (Irvine, California)

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for experienced bilingual customer service lead fluent in English and Korean. Our international team assists support managers with customer support-related issues via phone, email, and instant messaging. Ideal candidates will possess excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Korean. For more information, check out the job posting.

Applicants must be able to work full-time at our customer service center in Irvine, California. Travel between our international support centers will be required. Hours for this position may vary, and applicants may be required to work weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an interface between our support department and other Blizzard Entertainment teams in multiple regions.
  • Investigate written inquiries/issues and respond/resolve accordingly.
  • Work with the Korean customer service departments to ensure their opinions and concerns are addressed with the global support director.
  • Work with the international customer service manager to ensure global policies and procedures are applied in all regions.
  • Perform other tasks as needed by the support department.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Korean -- both written and spoken
  • Excellent customer service knowledge
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong multi-tasking ability
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Expert usage in standard office tool software (Word, Excel, etc.)

Pluses

  • 2+ years of call center experience
  • Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative
  • Knowledge of MMORPGs and Blizzard Entertainment games
